Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Bhilai is governed by the Educational Society under the aegis of St. Thomas Malankara Orthodox Church Mission, Bhilai under the Calcutta Diocese.
Major decisions on the functioning of the college are taken by the Governing Body whose members are Honourable Chairman Bishop of Calcutta Diocese, Executive Vice Chairman – St. Thomas Mission Vice President, Calcutta Diocesan Secretary, Bursar, St. Thomas Mission Education Officer, Mission Secretary, Finance Controller and Principal of the college and other eminent personalities, nominated by the Bishop.
College activities and policy decisions regarding academic matters are taken by the Academic Senate of the college. Members of the Academic Senate are Executive Vice Chairman, Principal, Heads of all Departments, 1st Year Incharge, Academic Coordinator, Research coordinator, Training & Placement Officer and Senior Professors. Academic Senate meets twice in every semester.
Executive Vice Chairman and Bursar of the college, Priest of Calcutta Diocese, are the representative of the St. Thomas Mission and are responsible for financial and resource planning.
