Welcome to one of the largest departments of CCET which offers U.G, P.G and Ph.D. programs in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The department has been playing a key role in producing scientists and technocrats of higher caliber since its establishment in the year 1998. The department offers B. Tech and M. Tech programs to cater the challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The Under Graduate course (B.E. – Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering) offered by the department has special emphasis on Telecommunication Networks, Digital Signal Processing, Devices and Circuits, Electromagnetic fields and waves, VLSI design, Microprocessors, Microcontrollers, Instrumentation, Image Processing, Microwave, Fiber Optics, Satellite, Wireless Communications, Radar, Navigations, Multimedia ,Internet Technologies and Embedded Systems. The Post Graduate course (M. Tech. – Nanotechnology) gives exposure to crucial subjects such as metamaterials, molecular electronics and nano-biotechnology. Nanotechnology is an emerging field of which has a great scope and job opportunities in India and abroad.

 The intensive training is to prepare our students to begin a lifetime of professional creativity and leadership. We have a focused approach for the all-round personality development of the students by organizing guest lecturers by Industry experts, seminars and industrial visits so that students get required industry exposure to the latest developments in the field. The department also enjoys very close relationships with industry, both in terms of research and recruiting.

Keeping in mind the great potential and demand for new communication technologies, the Department aims at imparting its students with the latest knowledge in the field. To complement this Department has well stocked laboratories housing various modern equipments to enable the students to keep pace with the fast changing technology. The infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded from time to time and provide adequate opportunities for students and researchers to innovate new ideas.

The department has well qualified faculty and trained technical supporting staff. All the faculty members are consistently carrying out research on cutting edge technologies. The department also undertakes research projects sponsored by both the government and the industry.
