INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERACTION CELL
Better interaction between technical institution & industry is the need of the hour. It will have great bearing on the engineering curriculum, exposure of industrial atmosphere to engineering students and sub sequent placement of young graduating engineers in the industries across the country.
With the advent of globalization and opening up of Indian economy to outside world, competition among industries have become stiff, to solve their engineer problems therefore they look up now to engineering institutions. Keeping it in view & to promote the industry institute interaction a cell has been formed under the able guidance of Principal CCET, for achieving the overall development of its students and staff.

SHORT TERM PLANS/ GOALS
- Conducting Guest lecture/technical talk by eminent personalities, academicians, and leading industrialist at regular intervals to enhance the student’s knowledge, about latest technical trends.
- To organize industrial visit for students to understand the practical implication of the subject matter of their respective disciplines.
- To provide technical consultancy and training to small scale & rural industries.
- Industry testing by faculty & technicians at sites or in lab.
LONG TERM GOALS
- Developing plans/strategies to meet the expectations of industry partners.
- Memoranda of understanding (MOU) between the institute and industries to bring two sides emotionally & strategically closer.
- Tech/ M.Tech projects/ dissertation work in industries under the joint guidance of the faculty and experts from industry.
- To get the successful transfer of technology between the industry and the institute.
- Professional consultancy by staff to the industry.
- Short-term assignment to faculty members in industries.
- Professorial Chairs sponsored by industries at the Institute.
TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS
- Action plan is prepared,
- the resource persons are identified from industry who can come to our premises to share their expertise
- Sending our students for industrial visit.
- Meet the industry personnel’s/ HRs for getting small projects from them or help the small/ rural industry to solve their technical difficulties (if any).
