The institute has a well maintained library to facilitate academic pursuits of the students and staff members. All students, faculty members and employees of the institute are entitled to make use of the library facilities on taking library membership.

- Subscription to more than 42 national and international print journals and e-journals to keep students and faculty updated with the latest research and advancements.
- A dedicated e-document section with 1280 CDs and floppies offering digital learning materials.
- Membership with DELNET & National Digital Library, ensuring broader access to online research materials and academic resources
Departmental Libraries
In addition to the Central Library, departmental libraries exist within each department. These libraries house books borrowed from the main library for quick reference, along with donated books to support department-specific studies.
Book Bank Scheme
The library operates a Book Bank Scheme, offering a dedicated collection of prescribed textbooks exclusively for students from financially weaker backgrounds and those who have opted for library book bank membership. This initiative ensures that all students have access to essential learning resources.
Library has a separate collection of prescribed text books under book bank for the exclusive use by students belong to poor family on free of cost and for other all students onetime payment bases.
COMPUTERIZATION
The library uses KOHA software packages which are an integrated multiuser Library Management system that supports all in –house operations of the library. This software consists of modules on acquisition, circulation, periodical subscription multimedia, library browsing, reservation, membership procedure, bar coding system etc, Transaction is being done through bar code scanner, and all books & members cards are bar coded.
Retrospective conversion of bibliographic records has been completed and 20 thousands bibliographic records of books available in the Library can now be accessed through the KOHA OPAC. The database of books available in the Library is being updated on day to day basic with details of recently acquired books. Records of all the Library Patrons have also been created in the KOHA package. The editing and updating activities are in process.
The KOHA package has been successfully implemented for the circulation activities, initially for Faculty and Staff. All faculty and staff members are being migrated to the new computerized circulation system. The package has also been implemented for Acquisition and Cataloguing activities. The data entry work for Serials System is in process.
