{"id":207,"date":"2023-11-09T10:34:14","date_gmt":"2023-11-09T10:34:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccetbhilai.ac.in\/?p=207"},"modified":"2023-11-09T10:35:52","modified_gmt":"2023-11-09T10:35:52","slug":"organised-alumni-meet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ccetbhilai.ac.in\/2023\/11\/09\/organised-alumni-meet\/","title":{"rendered":"Organised Alumni Meet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Bhilai organized it\u2019s\u00a0 Alumni Meet at the College campus on 29<sup>th<\/sup> October, 2022 from 11 am to 5 pm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The program started with lighting of lamp by all Dignitaries, followed by a welcome speech by Principal Dr. Dipali Soren. Honourable Executive Vice Chairman Rev. Fr. Dr. P.S Varghese addressed the Alumni. He exhorted the students to take career related guidance from\u00a0 reputed Alumnis and reminded everyone to serve the society in their given capabilities and capacities. \u201cMan making Education, is a great Ancient Indian concept, one should give back to the society, else he or she will be a looter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr.Kashish Shukla, President of Alumni Association in his presidential address briefed about the activities of CCET alumni association that was carried out\u00a0 last year. He highlighted that\u00a0 a strong Alumni is the backbone of any college. The\u00a0 felicitation address was delivered by Secretary, Mr. Mushtaq Alam<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The program was adorned by cultural\u00a0 presentations by students Ashish Saini,Arin Malaki ,Jailseen Sahota and Sultana Khatun. Alumni members also shared their memories with\u00a0 the audience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Further, business session was conducted as a post lunch program. An interaction of the current batches and\u00a0 Alumni members were organized which was worth while. It has helped the students to know about the life outside the four walls of the college.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the interactive session, Alumnus gave beneficial and valuable advices to the current batch students. They also answered their queries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Future plans were discussed and drafted for the better execution for the welfare of student community in which decision was made to create meritorious award for toppers and scholarships for financially weaker students from the next academic year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All the Alumni members were taken for campus tour to reminisce their old days. The program concluded with a Vote of thanks by Ms.Lincy Mendonza, Asst.Prof,CSE and Staff Alumni coordinator. There after group photos were taken.
